Madonna tests positive for coronavirus antibodies, says she is 'going to inhale the Covid-19 air
The singer shared the news within the 14th edition of her “Quarantine Diary” on Instagram TV.
“Took a test the opposite day and that i acknowledged that I even have the antibodies. So tomorrow I'm just getting to choose an extended drive within the car, and i am gonna avalanche the window and i am gonna inhale the Covid-19 air. Yup. I hope the sun is shining,” Madonna said.
According to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), US, antibody tests are wont to determine whether or not an individual has been exposed to COVID-19 by finding proteins the body produces to fight the virus.
However, the CDC has yet to verify if the possession of antibodies is adequate to immunity.

Madonna said in the week that she has tested positive for coronavirus antibodies.
“Took a test the opposite day, and that i acknowledged that I even have the antibodies, so tomorrow, I’m just getting to choose an extended drive during a car, and I’m getting to avalanche the window and I’m getting to inhale . I’m getting to inhale the COVID-19 air. Yup, I hope the sun is shining,” the 61-year-old pop star said Thursday within the latest installment of her “quarantine diary” series of videos on Instagram.
Scientists are still scrambling to know whether people that have contracted and recovered from COVID-19 are resistant to reinfection. Over the weekend, the planet Health Organization cautioned that “there is currently no evidence that folks who have recovered from COVID-19 and have antibodies are shielded from a second infection.”
Madonna didn't share within the video when she took the test or offer any longer details about her results.
In a previous video on Instagram last month, Madonna shared that she has lost three people to the pandemic, including her cousin, her security guard’s brother and Orlando Puerta, who worked together with her on multiple music projects.
